Today’s the day of the robotics meet, and my sister decided to pick me up from school to go all the way to the event. It was a long car ride but we’re finally here. I’m watching my team lose because Abby’s driving the robot instead of me.

Also, the Academy’s arch enemy is cheating. I can’t stand watching this so I go down to the competition ground and take the controller right out of Abby’s hands. Since the other team is cheating, I cheat back by running into their robot. The only thing wrong with doing that is that it was obvious and everybody noticed. My actions of cheating just started a riot in the crowd, and on the playing field. It was crazy and unexpected, but at least my team and our robot got justice.
The dance was crazy; I ended up not stopping all the bad from happening. I stopped them from embarrassing Abby, but after that they started messing with Chloe, while I was stopping them from ruining her night, Chloe was mad at me. She thought I was mad because she was starting to have a good time, when I was really trying to protect her.

After I got them to stop messing with Chloe I started to leave because the superintendent of the district was in the building looking for me. He’d found out about the damage that I caused to Hardcastle’s gym and was going to give me some serious punishment. While I was leaving, something terrible happened; my two friends found the class robot and started messing with it. The robot was breaking, and all the students of the Academy were terrified.

The Dance

I’m at the dance, and everything that I thought was going to happen is in the process of happening. My two friends, or what I used to think were friends, are planning to pick on each student from the Academy one by one. I have to stop them, like I said, I’m not going to let those knuckleheads ruin the Academy students only chance to have fun and be a normal kid.

I can see them approaching Abby, I try to get to her before they do but I’m too slow. By the time I get to her they’re already dancing with her, making her show her true clumsiness, that girl couldn’t dance to save her life.

Well there’s a dance coming up for Hardcastle Middle School. Since I broke part of the gym floor and it still hasn’t been redone, the dance is going to be hosted at the Academy of Scholastic Distinction. The kids at my school are forced to go because we will have to write an essay about it.

I feel like I already know what’s going to happen at this upcoming dance. My two friends that always get me into trouble are going to mess with and make fun of the kid’s that go to my school. I’m not going to let that happen though, this is the first time the kid’s at my school are getting to be normal and go to a dance and just have a great time. I’m not planning on letting those knuckleheads ruin their special night.

All my friends from Hardcastle Middle School are probably going to make fun of me the next time I see them. They’re going to call me a nerd and all this other stuff that’s just going to get on my nerves. I just hope that they don’t go overboard with anything they say to me.

They are nerds anyway; all they do is come up with crazy things for me to do for THEIR OWN ENTERTAINMENT. I really need to stop amusing them because I’m the only one that ever gets in trouble for it. I think they should stop telling me about ideas and just do it themselves.

Now I'm starting to get to know everyone’s personality in this class at the Academy of Scholastic Distinction. The person closest to normal is probably this girl named Chloe. Even though she is basically a genius.

She used to go to my old school and she always got really good grades, but I didn’t she was smart enough to go to the school of nerds, in nerdsville, right outside of loser town. Everything in this school is strictly learning. The most fun thing we have done since I’ve been here is help build the class robot for the future robotics competition.

Characters Perspective

The Academy of Scholastic Distinction is full of a whole bunch of smart people. It's going to be hard to stay in this program for long, before they find out that I'm actually just a normal kid. But it's whatever, I'll just cheat off of somebody until that stops working

While I'm in the Academy, I'm going to have to blend in as much as possible but it is going to be hard. I can already tell how some of these kids act. All they care about is "school" and "keeping up their grades for college". They're also already starting to judge me, I can just tell by the dirty looks they're giving me.
